The dry whey product shall be reasonable uniform in composition. The color shall be white or cream and free from a brown or yellow color typical of overheated product and free from any other unnaturel color. It shall be substantially free from brown specks. The flavour and odor of the dry whey product in the dry form or on reliquefication shall be sweet, clean and free from rancid tallowy, fishy, cheesy or soapy. The dry whey product shall be packed in substantial containers, suitable to protect and preserve the contents without significant impairment of quality with respect to sanitation, contamination and moisture content under various customary conditions of handling, tranportation and storage. This product falls within the scope of the ‘ATEX’ European Union regulations.
