Using the correct soil conditioner is extremely important to avoid soil degradation, resulting in a loss of quality and productivity in plants and crops. When soil loses nutrients the structure starts to break down, it becomes compacted and even toxic. Saferock® minerals provides a totally natural sedimentary resource which, when crushed to powder, is 100% recoverable and does not require additives or chemical processing saferock® minerals has been certified by omri, imo and the farmers & growers association as a natural soil conditioner suitable for use in organic farming. It can be used to decrease our dependence on chemical fertilisers as it contains many of the minerals and trace elements essential for healthy crops. It stimulates increased microbial and earthworm activity which in turn makes the nutrients plant available. Saferock® minerals has been fully tested and trialled having been used in a number of growing conditions, climates and soils across the world. Trials have also been carried out in a variety of settings from glasshouses to farmland and pastures. The results from the trials have shown that our resource improved the nutrient efficiency of the soil, and improved the quality and quantity of produce including grazing livestock. we plan to introduce an anaerobic digestion system in order to supply energy to run our quarry, cutting production costs and reducing our carbon footprint. direct sales of our resource will assist the growing of the fodder beet, required to feed the digester. Digester liquor can be mixed with our resource to produce a natural fertiliser. Our plant and vehicles can be converted to operate on gas produced by the anaerobic digester, further reducing our carbon footprint.
